Google Nexus 4 uses a microSIM and supports GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 2G networks and GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900 3G networks. It is fully unlocked and capable of global roaming.

Design and Dimensions:
The phone measures 133.9 x 68.7 x 9.1 mm and weighs 139 grams. The handset looks quite similar to LG Optimus G. It has a stylish design and is easy to hold. The entire body including the display is coated with Gorilla Corning Glass 2 which prevents damage and scratches incase you drop the phone.

Display:
Google Nexus 4 comes with a 4.7 inches True HD IPS Plus capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 768 X 1280 pixels. It supports up to 16 million colors and has a pixel density of 318 ppi. The display takes up the whole space on the front just like in the HTC One X. The image quality is clean and crisp with amazing level of details and color definitions. The Nexus 4 display can stand up to the best of displays available in the market without feeling inferior.

Camera:
Google Nexus 4 offers a primary 8 megapixel camera with LED flash which can take high quality photos up to a maximum resolution of 3264 X 2448 pixels and record high definition videos of 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second. The camera app has been revamped by Google to make clicking photo and record videos easier. Some features include autofocus, touch focus, geo-tagging, face and smile detection, photo sphere, HDR mode and much more. You also get a secondary front facing 1.3 megapixel camera which is useful for making video calls.

Hardware and Software:
LG has packed in some serious processing power in the Nexus 4. It has a Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon Quad-core 1.5 GHz Krait processor, Adreno 320 graphics processor and 2 GB RAM. It is one of the best hardware you'll find in a smartphone. Complimenting the hardware, is Google's latest Android operating system. Nexus 4 will be the first phone to feature Android version 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The phone has the typical Android user friendliness and is extremely fast at performing all tasks. According to Google, currently Nexus 4 is the fastest phone on the planet. The handset is available in 2 versions 8 GB / 16 GB internal memory. Unfortunately, it lacks a microSD card slot so you won't be able to expand the memory capabilities of the handset.

LG Nexus 4 supports GPRS, EDGE, HSDPA with speeds up to 42 Mbps, HSDPA with speeds up to 21 Mbps and HSUPA with speeds up to 5.76 Mbps. It also has Wi-fi with hotspot support. For connecting to other smartphones or your PC, you can use NFC, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP or microUSB v2.0.
